I’m Gareth Boot, and for 25 years I’ve been dedicated to helping people live better, more meaningful lives.

But it hasn’t always been that way.

In 2014, I hit rock bottom — stress, pressure, exhaustion and alcohol addiction took over my life.

What I didn’t realise at the time was that I had burned out. Completely. I had nothing left in the tank.

Rebuilding myself wasn’t quick or easy — but it was possible.


And it happened because of four principles that would later become The CARE System®:

CLARITY – Know what you want and why it matters
ACTION – Stop overthinking, start doing
RESILIENCE – Stay consistent when it gets hard
ENERGY – Build the stamina to keep going

These principles didn’t just help me recover — they transformed me. And over the years, they’ve helped hundreds of others do the same.

And here’s the truth I discovered along the way:

People don’t have a motivation problem.

They have a consistency problem.

We know what we should do…
We just don’t do it — every day.

That’s why I created The 12 Habits Programme.
